What is the CCELL M4B Pro?

If the CCELL M4 battery is the plain pen, the M4B Pro is the pen with controls. It keeps the same slim 10.5mm stainless steel tube and 290mAh cell, then adds the features a careful brand tends to want: a 10-second preheat, three voltage steps and a child-resistant power lock.

The power lock is the standout. A battery that can be locked is harder to fire accidentally in a pocket or bag, and it gives you a safety talking point at retail. CCELL describes it as a child-resistant power lock; we do not claim a formal child-safety certification for it. Pair it with any standard 510 cartridge. If you are new to the format, our 510 thread page covers the basics.

Length is the other distinguishing trait. At 90.75mm the M4B Pro is the longest of the M4 batteries, which gives it room for the control electronics and keeps the proportions balanced with tall glass cartridges. It also makes the battery easy to grip, even with the slim 10.5mm barrel. For a brand shipping filled cartridges, that extra length also leaves room to print or engrave a logo along the body if you discuss customisation with our team.

Who is the M4B Pro for?

Responsible-retail brands that want a locking battery they can mention in packaging and staff training.
Producers with varied oils who need three voltage steps instead of a single fixed output.
Teams wanting a discreet long pen. At 90.75mm it is the longest of the M4 family and sits well against tall cartridges.
Not ideal for buyers who need large capacity or a visible display; consider the Palm Pro or Stylo.
Staff-trained retailers who can explain a lock and a preheat in a few seconds at the counter.

Is the M4B Pro compatible with my cartridge?

Yes. The M4B Pro has a standard 510 thread, so it works with standard 510 cartridges, and its 10.5mm body is flush with narrow glass and thermoplastic tanks. These are common matches.

Cartridge	Sizes	Fit
CCELL TH2 EVOMAX	0.5 / 1.0ml	10.5mm, flush with the body
CCELL TH2-SE	0.5 / 1 / 1.2ml	10.5mm, flush with the body
CCELL M6T-SE	0.5ml / 1ml	10.5mm, flush with the body
CCELL Vita 2ml	2ml	14.1mm, overhangs the 10.5mm body

Which M4B Pro voltage and preheat should I use?

The three settings are 2.8V, 3.2V and 3.6V. Start low, step up only when the oil needs more heat, and notice at which point the flavour turns harsh. The 10-second preheat softens a thick or cold fill before the first draw.

Because the battery is small, a long preheat followed by a long draw will use charge quickly. Keep preheats for the times you really need them. For a deeper comparison of the slim batteries, read our M4B Pro, M4 and Go Stik guide.

How do I use the M4B Pro and its power lock?

Screw a standard 510 cartridge onto the top until snug.
Unlock the battery using the child-resistant power lock method set out in the instructions supplied with your batch.
Select 2.8V, 3.2V or 3.6V.
Start the 10-second preheat if the oil is thick, then draw on the mouthpiece.
Lock the battery again when finished, and recharge over USB-C when the indicator shows low charge.

M4B Pro care and troubleshooting

Battery will not fire: check it is unlocked, then confirm the cartridge is fully seated and the pin is dry.
Leak or sticky pin: wipe the thread with a dry cloth before refitting. A leaking cartridge can look like a dead battery.
Charging: use a known 5V USB-C source and disconnect at full. See the charging guide.
Flat quickly: 290mAh is a small cell, so reduce preheats and charge more regularly if usage is heavy.
Accidentally locked: if a customer says it is dead, ask whether the power lock is engaged before arranging a replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the CCELL M4B Pro compatible with standard 510 cartridges?

Yes. It has a standard 510 thread, so standard 510 cartridges screw straight on. The 10.5mm body is flush with narrow 10.5mm tanks such as the TH2-SE and TH2 EVOMAX. Wider formats will overhang the battery, so check the look of a 2ml Vita before ordering.

What does the child-resistant power lock do?

It lets you switch the battery off so it cannot be fired by accident, and the feature is described as child-resistant. We do not claim a formal child-safety certification. Always store the battery and cartridge out of reach of children, and follow the lock instructions supplied with your batch.

What voltage should I use on the M4B Pro?

Start at 2.8V and move up through 3.2V to 3.6V only if the oil needs more heat. Thicker oils generally need more heat than thin ones. Test a small batch of your own oil at each step and keep the lowest setting that gives a smooth, even draw.

How does the M4B Pro preheat work?

The M4B Pro lists a 10-second preheat that warms the cartridge before a draw, which helps thick or cold oil. Follow the instructions supplied with your batch for the button sequence. After preheating, draw on the mouthpiece as normal.

How does the M4B Pro differ from the M4?

Both have a 290mAh cell and stainless steel housing. The M4B Pro is longer at 90.75mm against 76.35mm, and it adds three adjustable voltages, a 10-second preheat and a child-resistant power lock. The M4 offers Standard 3.6V or Bespoke 2.6V combinations instead.

How do I charge the M4B Pro?

Charge it with a USB-C cable from a known 5V source. Watch the LED function indicator, disconnect when it is full and avoid overnight charging. If it will not charge, wipe the cartridge contact, because oil on the pin can cause a short and mimic a dead battery.

What colours does the M4B Pro come in?

The M4B Pro is offered in Black, Silver and White, all with a stainless steel housing. A Crystalline Edition in Blue, Purple and Green is also available as a separate listing. Tell the trade team the colours you need and we will confirm the split.

What is the M4B Pro wholesale price and minimum order?

Tiered trade pricing is shown on this page and quoted ex VAT, falling as quantities rise. Contact the trade team with your colour split and volumes to confirm tray quantities and a quote. Free shipping applies once an order passes the threshold shown at checkout.

Do you deliver the M4B Pro across the UK?

Yes. We deliver across the UK to trade and retail customers, and any free-shipping threshold is shown at checkout. If you need delivery outside the UK, contact the trade team before ordering so we can confirm availability and carriers for your destination.

Is the M4B Pro authentic CCELL hardware?

Yes. 3DevicesCCELL is an authorised UK distributor of authentic CCELL hardware, operated by 3Devices Ltd. The M4B Pro is supplied without cartridges or oil, and CCELL does not fill or sell oil. It is intended for CBD use only and is not for minors.
