What is the CCELL GemBox?

The CCELL GemBox is a stemless, postless all-in-one with a prism-cut panoramic tank and CCELL 3.0 Bio-Heating. It holds 1ml or 2ml, runs on a 200mAh battery inside a 78 x 37.5 x 17.5 mm body and charges over USB-C. It is supplied empty for licensed fillers and is named in CCELL's 3.0 launch release.

The body is a wide, short box rather than a stick, which gives brands a large flat face for branding. CCELL marks laser or print zones on the battery case specifically for OEM work.

Size and shape drive its use. At 78mm tall, 37.5mm wide and 17.5mm deep, it is shorter and broader than the GemBar stick, so it sits well in the palm and gives a larger face for printing. The prism-cut tank is the visual feature, and the stemless, postless construction keeps the view clear.

Does the GemBox need a separate battery?

No. The 200mAh battery is part of the device, and the GemBox charges through USB-C. It has no 510 thread. If you want threaded 3.0 hardware, browse our 3.0 cartridge range.

What does the Smart Display model add?

The Standard model uses indicator lights and has no display or preheat. The Smart Display model adds a display, a preheat and voltage settings of 3.0V, 3.2V and 3.4V. If you want the user to adjust heat, choose Smart Display. If you value simplicity and a lower cost, Standard is enough. Both are inhale activated.

3.0 Bio-Heating and the postless tank

CCELL launched 3.0 Bio-Heating in December 2024, and its press release names the GemBox among the first postless all-in-ones. CCELL claims a 30% lower peak core temperature, ten times the core inlets of competitor products and 50% fewer leaks and clogs, and describes a cottonless core and a postless tank that maximises oil use. Which oils work in the GemBox?

CCELL positions 3.0 hardware for all oil types at higher capacities. The prism-cut tank shows the oil clearly, so colour and clarity matter. Pilot your own oil at your chosen tank size. How do I use the CCELL GemBox?

1. Choose 1ml or 2ml, and Standard or Smart Display.
2. Fill the tank using your usual procedure, taking care not to overfill.
3. Charge over USB-C before first use.
4. On Smart Display, select a voltage and use the preheat for thick oil. On Standard, simply draw to fire.

GemBox care, leaks and troubleshooting

• Leaking: avoid overfilling and store the box upright.
• Not firing: charge, then draw firmly.
• Branding zone damage: avoid abrasive wiping on printed or engraved areas.
• Display blank: a low battery can dim a screen, so charge first.

How do I plan branding on the GemBox?

Start with the zones. CCELL marks laser or print areas on the battery case, so artwork should fit those boundaries. A laser engraving add-on is available on this page, with 2 extra days for delivery. The tool lets you place text or a logo, and engraving is greyscale: white on dark finishes and black on light ones. Use high-resolution artwork with clean edges. What should I confirm before ordering the GemBox?
