Heating technology

Inside the CCELL Dart Series Pod: SE ceramic heating

The proven CCELL ceramic core

CCELL Dart Series Pod pairs the SE ceramic core with a 0.5ml/1.0ml tank.

The SE heating element uses CCELL's original patented ceramic core, the technology behind more than 530 million CCELL cartridges (CCELL figure). Ceramic replaces the cotton wick and heats evenly, so flavour stays consistent from the first puff to the last without a burnt-cotton taste.

Designed for Distillate Lower-viscosity oils

Even heating A porous ceramic core warms the oil evenly for a steady draw.
No cotton wick Nothing to scorch, so no burnt-cotton taste.
Proven at scale CCELL's first-generation core, used across its classic range since 2016.
Ideal for distillates CCELL groups SE hardware under "best for distillates".

What is the CCELL Dart Series Pod?

The Dart Series Pod is the pod that makes a Dart or Dart-X battery work. It is a small plastic pod with the mouthpiece built in, so there is no separate part to fit and nothing to lose. It clicks onto the battery by magnet, and because the housing is semi-transparent, a filler or a customer can see the oil level.

The key point is that one pod fits two generations. Customers who bought a first-generation Dart can keep buying the same pod when they upgrade to the Dart-X, and you only need one pod SKU in your range. The pod is a closed format, so it will not fit a 510 battery. For threaded products, see our cartridge range.

From a handling point of view, a pod with an integrated mouthpiece is one fewer component to source, store and cap. For a small business with limited equipment, that simplicity can matter as much as any specification, because every extra part is another thing that can be misplaced or fitted wrongly.

Who is the Dart Series Pod for?

Brands with Dart or Dart-X customers who need a refill pod that works with both.
Filling teams who prefer a pod with an integrated mouthpiece, which removes a capping step.
Retailers selling pods as repeat-purchase items alongside Dart-X batteries.
Not ideal for anyone who needs a glass tank, a choice of mouthpiece materials or a pod for Luster or Eazie batteries.

Is the Dart Series Pod compatible with my battery?

It is designed for the Dart and Dart-X batteries and nothing else. The connection is magnetic. The table lists what does and does not fit, so you can brief your sales staff correctly.

Battery	Pod format	Works with Dart Series Pod?
CCELL Dart-X	Dart pods	Yes
CCELL Dart (1st gen)	Dart pods	Yes
Luster Pro / Luster	Luster pods	No
Standard 510 battery	Threaded cartridge	No

How do I choose between the 0.5ml and 1.0ml Dart pod?

The 0.5ml pod is 32.7mm tall and the 1.0ml is 37.8mm, so the 1.0ml is only about 5mm taller while holding twice the volume. That makes the larger pod an efficient choice for everyday products. The smaller pod suits premium, strong or limited-edition fills where a small unit is part of the appeal.

CCELL pods use a ceramic heating element in place of a wick-based coil. Before you commit to a run, fill a handful of each size with your oil and check wicking, leak behaviour and flavour. Our oil types page explains how viscosity changes what a pod needs.

How do I fill and use the Dart Series Pod?

Fill the pod with your licensed oil, leaving a small air gap at the top.
Allow the oil time to settle into the heating element before first use.
Press the pod onto the magnetic connection of a Dart or Dart-X battery.
Draw on the integrated mouthpiece; the battery will fire as set out in its instructions.
Remove the pod before long storage if you want to protect the battery contacts.

Dart Series Pod care and troubleshooting

Leaking: avoid overfilling, store the pod upright and wipe the magnetic contacts clean.
Pod will not fire: check it sits flat on the magnet and the battery is charged and unlocked.
Cloudy or marked housing: wipe with a dry cloth. The housing is plastic, so avoid solvents.
Weak draw: the pod may be nearly empty; refill or replace it before changing the battery setting.

How should I plan a Dart pod order?

Match pod orders to the batteries in the field. If you sell many Dart-X batteries, plan pod volumes at a multiple of battery sales, because pods are the repeat purchase. Order in both sizes if you are unsure, and review the split after the first reorder.

Because one pod fits two generations, you can hold a single pod SKU for both. That reduces stock complexity and means older Dart customers are not left without a refill. Ask the trade team about tray sizes so you can plan shelf and warehouse space.

Dart Series Pod trade pricing and UK delivery

Frequently Asked Questions

Contact our team WhatsApp us

Does the CCELL Dart Series Pod fit standard 510 batteries?

No. The Dart Series Pod uses a magnetic connection and works with the Dart and Dart-X batteries. It does not have a 510 thread and will not fit a standard 510 battery. For a threaded product, choose a 510 cartridge and pair it with a 510 battery.

Which batteries does the Dart Series Pod work with?

It works with the Dart and Dart-X batteries, so a single pod format covers both generations. It does not fit Luster, Eazie or 510 batteries. If your customer is unsure which battery they own, ask them to check the model name on the device before you supply pods.

What sizes does the Dart Series Pod come in?

It comes in 0.5ml and 1.0ml. The 0.5ml pod is 32.7mm tall and the 1.0ml is 37.8mm, both 28.5mm wide and 11.3mm deep. Choose the size to suit your product volume, and consider ordering a sample of each before a full run.

What is the Dart Series Pod made from?

The pod has a semi-transparent plastic housing with an integrated food-grade mouthpiece, medical-grade 316L stainless steel internals and a ceramic heating element. If you need a material statement for your own compliance file, ask the trade team what documentation we can provide.

How do I fill the Dart Series Pod?

Fill it with your licensed oil, leave a small air gap and let the oil settle before first use. Do not overfill. Run a few test pods with your oil. Our trade team can discuss filling and capping equipment.

Why is my Dart pod leaking?

Leaks usually come from overfilling, storing the pod on its side or running oil that is too thin for the setting. Reduce the fill level, store pods upright and try a lower temperature setting. Wipe the magnetic contacts, because oil on them can also stop the battery firing.

Can the Dart Series Pod be customised?

Customisation is available for the Dart pod and the Dart-X battery. If you want branded or coloured pods, send your artwork, quantities and timescale to the trade team and we will confirm what is possible before you order.

How much is the Dart Series Pod wholesale in the UK?

Tiered trade pricing is quoted on request, ex VAT, with lower unit prices as quantities rise. Request pricing by size and quantity from the trade team. If the pod shows as out of stock, ask for the next delivery date and we will confirm it.

Is the Dart Series Pod authentic CCELL hardware?

Yes. We are an authorised UK distributor of authentic CCELL hardware, operated by 3Devices Ltd. The pod is supplied empty, and CCELL does not fill or sell oil. It is intended for CBD use only and is not for minors, so keep filled pods away from children.
