Which hardware suits each oil type?

The oil decides the hardware. Distillate is thicker and more forgiving on heat. Live resin has more terpenes and a wider viscosity range, so it needs even heat and a core that will not clog. Live rosin is solventless and the hardest on hardware. These notes are for fillers, not medical advice.

Oil types against hardware

Use this table as a first inquiry set. It is a short list, not the full range.

Distillate

Highly refined, often thicker, with fewer native terpenes unless reintroduced. More forgiving on heat, but it still leaks if the airway and seals are wrong.

Mini Tank, Voca, Flexcell, DS01 Series, Skye II and Listo are grouped as a first inquiry set. Flexcell and the DS01 Series sit under CCELL's Best for Distillates group and use SE ceramic elements. Mini Tank uses an SE element as standard.

Live resin

A hydrocarbon extract from frozen plant. It has more terpenes and a wider viscosity range. It needs even heat and a core that will not clog mid-cart.

Flexcell Pro, Voca Pro and Blanc are grouped for this viscosity. All three run a CCELL EVO core. CCELL lists Blanc for live resin and high terpene extracts.

Live rosin

Solventless, and often the hardest on hardware. Low-temp ceramic and all-oil platforms exist specifically so this oil does not sit in a wick.

Rosin Bar and Vision Box Elite are the starting tray for wholesale quotes. Both use the CCELL HeRo core. Rosin Bar has two oil pathways and an isolated airway. Vision Box Elite adds a 10 second preheat and three voltage settings: 2.6V, 2.8V and 3.0V.
