Distillate
Highly refined, often thicker, fewer native terpenes unless reintroduced. More forgiving on heat, still leaks if the airway and seals are wrong.
Live resin
Frozen-plant hydrocarbon extract. More terpenes and a wider viscosity range. Needs even heat and a core that will not clog mid-cart.
Live rosin
Solventless, often the hardest on hardware. Low-temp ceramic and all-oil platforms exist specifically so this oil does not sit in a wick.
